Two Global Awareness Week Door Prizes Won at Palmer
Each year, Global Awareness
Week features a door decorating content. This year, Kenya Wintjen’s “What’s in
your sushi?” door design took first place. However, two of our Palmer folks,
Connie Bryant and Tiffany Buggs, also placed in the top four. Tiffany Buggs,
who is the guru of the Academic Hub, said that what she was trying to show with
her door was, “Steaming around the world for new
ideas and education.” She
further said that she enjoys entering the door contest because “It’s fun, brings out my creativity, and
gives me a therapy break from my busy work schedule.” She encourages others to get
involved next year. She says, “It’s fun! And
it allows you to explore your creativity.”
